What’s Old is New.

Reducing our carbon footprint means producing mattresses in new ways, or in our case, old ways. All of our mattresses are crafted by hand—without the use of energy or machinery—using techniques that have been in our family since 1915. The thought is simple, really: machines may be faster and less expensive, but ultimately, people do it better. Plus, human power is a 100% renewable source of energy, (as long as that human is getting enough quality sleep at night.)

The artisans who will ultimately craft your mattress have more than 75 years of combined experience. Our artisans are obsessed quality. Materials are spread by hand, and held in place by hand-tufting or durable hand-sewn stitches. Then the mattress is inspected and re-inspected to make sure everything is even and flawless. The result is a custom-made mattress that is nothing short of perfect.
