What’s Old is New.

WJ Southard is family-run, family-owned, and completely devoted to a healthy night’s rest. All WJ Southard Mattresses are handmade, using techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. 

Making organic mattresses means producing mattresses in new ways, or in our case, old ways. All of our mattresses are crafted by hand using techniques that have been in our family since 1915. The thought is simple, really: synthetic materials may be less expensive, but ultimately, natural and organic materials do it better.
